Post-college is always a difficult tome for schooled artists. How do you make money doing what you love? Back in Vermont, Rebecca continued with her twisting but brought the scale to another level. Little sculptures with uses; plant stands, candle holders, racks of sorts, etc. Feverishly producing a great deal of these things, she booked herself a couple of craft fairs in the west. Then landing herself in northern California, she decided to stay and play awhile. Today, she resides in the hills of Healdsburg, California, and works as a full-time, professional, metal fabricator. As she earns her rent, she is constantly refining her skills in the metal arts and plans to get back on the “art-wave” of large-scale kinetic pieces again.
Rebecca never makes the same sculpture twice. If you see something here that interests you, send an e-mail and have no fear you can own a Rebecca Nase Original soon enough!
